ICC Sweden, in consultation with the ICC Headoffice, invites its members to a Young Arbitrator Visit to the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris, France on 17 May 2018.
The purpose of this visit is to provide an opportunity for lawyers, age 40 years of age and younger, who are practicing and interested in arbitration, to familiarize themselves with the unique aspects of ICC Arbitration and to get an insight to ICC arbitration proceedings.
During this visit, the Swedish delegation will meet the President of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, who will open the meeting and speak about the recent developments at the ICC Court, allowing for Q&A as well. Hélène Van Lith, the Secretariat of the Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission will also speak to the group on progresses and ambitions of the commission.
The delegation will also have an opportunity to meet the Chief Operating Officer, Philip Kucharski, who will provide insides to the ICC’s policy work as well as the ICC’s current and future priorities. Emily O’Connor, Senior Policy Manager for the Commercial Law and Practice, will also provide an introduction to the Incoterms Rules, ICC’s flagship product for commercial sales of goods contracts.
The price for participation is SEK 3.500 plus VAT. The fee includes a lunch mingle on 17 May. Participants will arrange their own travel and hotel. A list of hotels with ICC discount is available upon request.
