Stockholm Roundtable Discussion

Hosts: ICC Sweden, Raoul Wallenberg Institute, Iran Business Responsibility (IBR) Iran, resource-rich and with significant investment needs, is attracting investor interest. Responsible business practices can achieve mutually beneficial goals. It helps companies accomplish their (re-) entry into a high-exposure market and facilitate the long-term success of their investment by maximising the benefits that they can bring to the people. Thus, it contributes to sustainable development and improvement of human rights in the country.The discussion will provide an opportunity for the Iran Business Responsibility (IBR) project to present the results of an exclusive poll exploring attitudes of Iranians on responsible business. The aim of the Roundtable is to gather interested private sector and government representatives in a closed-door, off-the-record session to present and discuss challenges and opportunities for responsible business in Iran.
